We are all hearing a lot about apps, iPhones and iPads lately. Here we finally made reality a project of building apps for this competitive market that is evolving rapidly. All around the world developers create apps for many different uses from editing pictures to free online magazines, but we wanted something unique.
Prograph, our client asked us to develop something different, designed exclusively for iPad users. They wanted an educational app for toddlers that taught them different activities through simple games making learning a really fun experience for Norwegian kids. The app, with a book layout challenged kids to complete different tasks –with a moderate difficulty adequate to their age– as coloring, drawing, pointing, relating images, adding, multiplying or completing a puzzle to get to the next stage.
As much fun as it sounds, developing something like this was really complicated specially having a variety of functions in different parts of the same application. Each one of the pages needed a different configuration developed for the tasks the user will need to perform in each part. Finally the result was amazing app developed in Objective C matching the technical requirements and functionalities a successful app needs.
The app will soon be featured in Apple’s App Store.
