Windows Azure platform allowed us to develop in .NET and PHP as well as using any data base for the system. We had the option to select how many hardware we would need, give extra speed to certain geographical areas and paying only for the amount of service the client will use.

The system is a complete solution to register visits on daily basis for office or family buildings. OnVisit allow us to register visitors prior to their visit, create visitor and parking passes with unique bar codes for each one (to be scanned and read by the system itself), send SMS alerts to the visited person and to the visitor with Wi-Fi passwords and register specific hours and devices. The system is a complete solution for visitor registration granting also administrative levels for users and system administrators, searches, reports and emergency evacuation lists.

We used C#, .NET framework 3.5 for Windows Azure and SQL Azure to develop this great solution that is hosted in the cloud. What is your company waiting to develop their systems in the cloud?
